Our prestigious BALL ROOM measures 17m x 30m, with a seating capacity of 300 with tables and chairs to suit.
Facilities include a stage 6m x 2.5m, sound system, air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen that can cater for any number of guests, and a bar with a full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

“The Auckland Polish community recently celebrated a rather important historical event in our Polish history, it was the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Pahiatua Polish Children to New Zealand. To mark this event we had to find a venue that the remaining Pahiatua children (now very elderly) and their extended families would feel comfortable in. The Dalmatian Cultural Society ball room came up as a possible venue and it was perfect. It could easily accommodate the 200 guests we expected, was easy to navigate for those with disability issues and was located centrally.

From the very start Vojna and her team at the Dalmatian club went out of their way to make our event a success. A planning meeting ensured that all our needs were covered for the event, from the decorating of the tables and hall, delivery of exhibition panels, to the use of the piano, overhead projector and sound system and of course, most importantly, the menu. Vojna accommodated us even delivering our Polish dumplings (pierogi) to be included in the lunch menu and her wise recommendations regarding serving of food and alcohol were appreciated.

Those attending the Auckland Polish Reunion lunch raved about the venue saying it was perfect and there was nothing but the utmost praise about the food, which was plentiful and delicious. There were even some dishes that were the same as our Polish dishes which was perfect. Nick was on hand throughout the event to assist us with the sound system and Mladen was charming in the bar and looked after everyone perfectly.

We would also like to thank the Dalmatian Cultural Society for their support of our Polish dancers, by providing a room for them to get changed and supporting the Polish children dancers so generously. It is great to know they value supporting youth staying connected to their culture as much as we do.
