DKD Open Day — Sunday 20 September

Once a year, we throw open our doors and invite the whole community in. This year’s Open Day is on Sunday 20 September at the clubrooms, 10 New North Road, Eden Terrace.

Downstairs, our museum and archive trace the story of Dalmatian settlement in New Zealand — well worth a browse whether you’re a member, a descendant, or simply curious. Upstairs, there’ll be a kolo workshop at 1pm — a chance for everyone, young and old, to try their hand at traditional Croatian dancing — followed by a folklore concert at 2pm.

We’ll be serving traditional Dalmatian food for both lunch and dinner, and our stall will have Croatian delicacies for you to take home.

Entry is by donation; food and stall items are sold separately. No bookings required — just come along and bring family and friends.
